TV comic Chris Ramsey is bringing his new tour show to Dudley next year, it was announced today.

The popular Geordie will be stopping off at Dudley Town Hall on Friday May 18 with his new show, titled ‘The Just Happy To Get Out Of The House Tour’.

Ramsey has appeared on the likes of Live At The Apollo, The John Bishop Show, Celebrity Juice, Never Mind The Buzzcocks and 8 Out of 10 Cats. He also hosts The Chris Ramsey Show on Comedy Central.

Tickets are due to go on sale at 10am on Friday and are expected to be snapped up quickly.

As an extra treat, fans who book early and buy a ticket for the show before midnight on Sunday December 3 will get a free download of the comic’s last tour show. Alex Jackson, booker for Dudley Borough Halls, said:

“We're really pleased to welcome Chris to Dudley Town Hall in May with his brand new live show.

“Chris is a wonderful stand-up, well-known for his various TV appearances – including as host of his own show on Comedy Central.”

Ramsey is one of a number of big name comics set to appear at Dudley Town Hall in 2018, with the likes of Jason Manford, Joe Lycett, David Baddiel and Paul Chowdhry also scheduled to take to the stage.

Tickets for Chris Ramsey cost £20 plus booking fees and are available from Friday by either logging on to boroughhalls.co.uk or calling the box office on (01384) 812812.

Doors open at 6.45pm, with the show starting at around 7.30pm.
