The Kiss From A Rose singer captured the moment on Facebook live, before inviting Poppy to open for him at Bridgewater Hall.
After watching local musician, Poppy Waterman-Smith, performing in Manchester Piccadilly, the four times Grammy award winning singer singer decided not only to share the moment with his fans on Facebook Live, but also get a few duets in too!
Seal said the reason he was so interested in her is because he was in Montreal three days before and stumbled across a busker who was "really amazing" and had a "really beautiful voice". The star revealed he listened to him for about an hour. He said:
"I realised the only difference between him and me is I had the opportunity.
"I figure with some people, maybe they didn't seize the opportunity or that opportunity hasn't come around just yet."
Clearly overcome by the situation, Poppy sang three duets with the artist; 'I Shot The Sheriff', 'Redemption Song' and a rendition of his worldwide hit, 'Kiss From A Rose'. Plus, if that wasn't life-changing enough - Seal allowed Poppy to open for him at his gig in the city that night.
