Ed Sheeran reveals the name of his next album is tattooed on his body

He made the revelation in an exclusive interview with Q Magazine.

If you are curious about the names of Ed’s upcoming albums you just have to get close enough to look at his tattoos. Although there are quite a lot of them and we imagine his security team wouldn't be THAT cool with you checking!

In an exclusive interview with this month’s Q Magazine, the 'Shape of You' singer revealed, “It’s kind of like Prison Break. It’s all there.”

When Ed signed his contract with Asylum back in in 2011, he already had a masterplan and shared it with Ben Cook, President of Atlantic Records UK. He wanted to publish five EPs, five albums named after mathematical symbols and another series of five after that.

So far we have had +, x, and ÷. Tattoo's aside, unless he goes for  then we could take an educated guess at where the next title is likely to go! Talking about the varying opinions people have on him, he says:

“I’ve actually never felt this much hate in my life, but also I’ve never felt this much adoration. There’s two extremes. It’s actually quite a dangerous situation to be in because you’ve got no middle ground, which I haven’t had before."

“It’s weird. Musically, I understand that I am not everybody’s cup of tea but there are people who’ve never met me but have this rage about me as a human being. It’s quite daunting to have millions of people who wants you to fail.”

Don't worry - we love you Ed! The full interview appears in this month’s Q Magazine, which is on sale now.
