If you’re tired of your 9-5 and just want to add a bit of magic to your miserable days, then listen up! Disneyland Paris is coming to the UK in search of staff who fancy earning money dressed as Disney princes and princesses.
Basically, if you fancy yourself as Cinderella, Rapunzel or Prince Eric - then this is the job for you! According to the Disneyland Paris website, the search for new staff comes in celebration of their 25th anniversary.
Hoping to expand their character and parade department, they’re looking for ‘enthusiastic and energetic people to animate the famous Disney characters’.
Of course, not everyone has it in them to be a Disney legend. If you can’t sing or dance – and you’re not into wearing fancy clothes, then this role probably isn’t for you. However, according to the advert, if you have a good level of dance skills, you’ll be the perfect addition to the Disney parade.
Alongside dancers, the resort is looking for people who are happy to meet their visitors on a daily basis dressed up as beloved Disney princes and princesses.
You’ll need to be between 137cm and 193cm tall to apply, regardless of your talent. You’ll also need to be able to speak French or English (or both) and will need to bring along a copy of your ID and a CV if you land an audition.
Oh, and they ask that you also bring along jogging bottoms, sports shoes and that you don’t wear any makeup (but at least that’ll give you an extra ten minutes in bed, right?).
The role starts in October 2017, with a minimum contract of four months – though hopefully, if you prove you’re destined to be Disney royalty, this could be a long-term thing. If you’d like to apply or find out more, you can visit the auditions page here.
