Gig Caritas Chorus and Orchestra are presenting a concert with a difference on Saturday 22 March at 7.30pm at St James’s Parish Church in Wollaston, Stourbridge. Directed by Keith Horsfall and featuring guest tenor soloist Ed Harrisson and Redhill School Choir, the concert will include Warlock’s lively Capriol Suite, the sensuous Cantique de Jean Racine by Gabriel Faure and Benjamin Britten’s St Nicolas as the main work. This tells the story of the life of St Nicolas (the original Father Christmas) through spiky tunes, exciting storm scenes, evocative travels and even features three pickled boys!
