As part of Dudley Libraries' History Festival, local Author and Medical Historian, Kevin Goodman, visits Gornal Library on 16th October at 7 pm to talk about the Quack Doctors and Folk cures that people relied upon before easy and cheap access to medical help became available. Meet some of the memorable Quacks and learn about the strange folk cures and discover why medicine sold by chemists could be just as bad.
