Over 22,000 people helped Himley Bonfire sell out for the second successive year with the public taking in a stunning 30-minute firework display.

There was also live entertainment on the main stage from Bhangra drummers, Hit the Dhol; Pink tribute artist, Vicky Jackson and DJ Stuart Ojelay.

Councillor Shaun Keasey, cabinet member responsible for commercial events, said: "I want to say a big thank you to everyone who turned out this evening to enjoy the Himley bonfire and fireworks, which for the second year in a row sold out well in advance.

"It was wonderful to see so many people, of all ages, enjoying a wonderful evening of entertainment, topped off with one of the best fireworks displays for miles around.

"It remains the biggest and best display of its kind in the region, and long may that continue."
