It’s sofa so-good as Acorns Children’s Hospice launches a free house collection service.
Black Country residents looking to give their unwanted furniture a new home can benefit from the brand new service which offers to pick up goods completely free of charge. By donating top-quality items householders will be helping to raise vital funds to support local children with life limiting and life threatening conditions as the goods will be sold in Acorns furniture shops. Debbie Foy, Acorns House Collections Manager, said:
“Our new house collection service is a fuss free way to donate your unwanted furniture and help raise money for local children and families. Our shops offer a range of high-quality large and small home items from sofas and dining tables to lamps and furnishings at great bargain prices. ”
House collections can be arranged between 9am and 3.30pm, Monday to Friday, with limited availability on weekends and out of hours.
Acorns is also offering a new house clearance service, which includes clearing a house of items and cleaning the house ready for sale, and is quoted on an individual basis. Debbie added:
“We understand that house clearances can happen at a very difficult time and our staff will always be very respectful of that.
"This service aims to make it what could be an incredibly hard step for families and loved ones as simple as possible.”
Donating good quality items is a quick way to support Acorns and all profits made go back to the charity. To book a house collection visit acorns.org.uk whilst clearances should be organised by email to house.collections@acorns.org.uk.
