Boogie Lights Express steams into the Severn Valley Railway

There are just days to go until the brand new Boogie Lights Express steams into the Severn Valley Railway.

Running on Friday and Saturday nights from 28 February until 29 March, the steam-hauled Boogie Lights Express will transport passengers within a stunning, on-train sound and light show.

A kaleidoscope of colours and patterns unfolds inside and outside the train, to a soundtrack of iconic party classics, including Queen, Rihanna and Taylor Swift.

Every carriage features a canopy of glittering LED lights, and each passenger receives a take-home LED wristband that’s synchronised with the music. The legendary ‘Voiceover Man’, as heard on Britain’s Got Talent and the X Factor, hosts the experience and ramps up the party spirit.

The event is completely unaffected by the recent embankment collapse near Bridgnorth and trains will depart from Kidderminster as planned.

Visitor Engagement Manager, Lewis Maddox said: ‘We’re really looking forward to this dazzling and colourful musical show. Our Boogie Lights Express is perfect for the whole family.

"The spectacular train steams in very soon, and you won’t want to miss your only chance to travel on it in the Midlands this year."

Suitable for all ages, with bookable wheelchair spaces, the Boogie Lights Express departs twice nightly from Kidderminster station and the on-train experience lasts 70 minutes.
