Britain’s Got Talent star Donchez Dacres will be wiggling and wining his way to Dudley to perform in the town on Black Country Day.
The Black Country singer will be performing at the family fun day in Stone Street on July 14.
He will be appearing alongside a number of acts on the main stage and will be entertaining the crowds with the Wiggle and Wine song which captured the nation’s attention on Britain’s Got Talent earlier this year.
There will also be live music, street entertainers, poets and wrestlers to entertain the crowds as well as craft stalls and much more.
The fun takes place at the main stage in Stone Street and runs from 11am to 5pm.
The Mayor of Dudley will be among those celebrating the town.
Councillor Alan Taylor, Mayor of Dudley, said:
“This is a very proud day in the Black Country calendar and I am sure the thousands of people there on the day will agree.
“The organisers have done a fantastic job to make sure there’s lots going on in the town centre and I am very much looking forward to joining other proud Black Country folk on the day.”
The event is just one of lots taking place across the borough and wider region throughout July as part of the Black Country Festival.
