Chocolatiers at Cadbury World have unveiled a turkey-tastic chocolate version of the typical Christmas dinner.
The feast for the eyes includes an intricately handmade turkey, 13 pigs in blankets, 12 roast potatoes, 9 carrots, 11 parsnips, 6 brussels sprouts, a vegetarian wellington and even chocolate gravy!
A carefully curated second course has also been included, featuring a Christmas pudding decorated with holly leaves, a gold shimmering pot of brandy butter and mince pies, all topped off with a Christmas cracker.
Every component of the creation, even the table, has been delicately handcrafted from Cadbury chocolate. The masterful chocolatiers carved large blocks of milk chocolate to form the shape of the turkey, which was then perfected with coloured cocoa butter and edible luster.
The final piece weighs 30kg, is 70 cm wide and took the masterful chocolatiers at Cadbury World four days to make. Cadbury World General Manager Gerrard Baldwin said: “We always set out to create a showstopper creation for the festive season that captures festive fun, and we’re sure this creation will bring a smile to guest’s faces.
"Cadbury has celebrated Christmas for 200 years, and we wanted to showcase the staple Christmas dinner this year.
“I am always amazed by the talent of the chocolatiers, the creativity and skill that went into making the terrific turkey is truly unbelievable and never fails to impress me.”
The chocolate creation will be on display for visitors to see at Cadbury World in Bournville until 31st December.
