The occupants of a car had a lucky escape last night after their vehicle was involved in a collision in Stourbridge.

The car was travelling around St John’s Road when it left the carriageway and smashed into an electric vehicle charging point on Stourbridge Industrial Estate, off Mill Race Lane.

The car came to rest on its side before emergency services were called.

Police are making enquiries after the occupants left the scene of the incident.
