Wolverhampton-based charity Compton Care is inviting supporters to attend a reflection event at the charity’s dedicated Memory Lock garden on-site.
The event, for those who have placed a Memory Lock in the garden, and those who have pre-ordered one, takes place on Sunday 24th July at 12.30pm.
Guests will have the opportunity to reflect on the memory of their loved one while taking in the peaceful surroundings of the garden.
Isabel Hewitt, Legacy & In-Memory Fundraiser, said:
“We’re looking forward to welcoming families to our Garden of Reflection. It’s lovely to be able to invite our Memory Lock supporters to visit the garden and we hope that it will provide the opportunity for them to celebrate and remember loved ones in a beautiful dedicated setting.”
There will be poems, blessings, and the chance to enjoy a picnic on the lawn, with the option for guests to order a free cream tea for two at the point of registration.
Each Memory Lock costs £120 and will be placed in the garden for one year, or can be delivered directly to the supporter’s home for them to place.
To pre-order a personalised Memory Lock, you can visit comptoncare.org.uk/reflectionevent or call 01902 539602.
