A local choir will perform a ‘decade of songs’ this weekend in a special performance at Halesowen's Cornbow Hall.

Lutley Community Voices choir formed in 2012 and will perform their ten-year anniversary concert this Saturday, June 25 at 7.30pm.

The concert will feature popular songs they’ve performed in the last decade and a special performance by Billy Spakemon. Councillor Simon Phipps, cabinet member for regeneration and enterprise, said:

"It’s great to have live music at Cornbow Hall this weekend, it’s set to be a wonderful evening with songs you’ll recognise and able to sing along to.

"We’re always looking to expand the variety of shows and events available at the hall, with the venue able to offer flexibility for a variety of events – whether it’s live music, comedy, wrestling or parties. We’d urge people to get in touch if they would like to find out more."

There are two rooms available at Cornbow Hall for hire. The main hall has a capacity for 384 people in theatre style seating and 200 for cabaret style seating. It’s a great space for private functions such as dance shows and large parties.

There’s also the green room available, which can accommodate 60 people and is ideal for small group events such as meetings, conferences and parties.
