People can enjoy an afternoon of seasonal celebrations at Stevens Park in Quarry Bank on Friday 17th December.
Local charity The Emily Jordan Foundation Projects is working with Dudley Council to run the event from 3pm to 6pm at the park’s Tintern House.
There will be a Santa’s grotto, Christmas themed craft workshop from local crafts business Daisy Crafts, a Christmas crafts stall marker and Christmas carols from Christ Church Choir. Councillor Karen Shakespeare, cabinet member for public realm, said:
"Dudley Council has worked with The Emily Jordan Foundation Projects and The Friends of Quarry Bank Park to invest £1.4 million of Heritage Lottery Funding at the park.
"This community Christmas event will bring the community together to celebrate the festivities while showcasing some of the great improvements."
There is no need to prebook for the event. Admission is free but people are invited to make a donation to the charity.
