Much-loved comedian, Bill Bailey, is to appear at dates in Brierley Hill and Sutton Coldfield during April.
The comedy legend, best known for appearances on Never Mind The Buzzcocks and QI, has undertaken numerous sell-out tours across the UK. He will top the bill at two shows for Black Country comedy promoters, Funny Beeseness.
Bailey is performing an extended 45 minute headline set at Sutton Coldfield Town Hall on Friday April 3, and Brierley Hill Civic on Saturday April 4. Tickets are on sale now and are expected to be snapped up quickly.
He will be supported on both nights by two of the most highly regarded up and coming acts on the circuit in the shape of South Coast Comedian of the Year, Mike Cox, and English Comedian of the Year finalist, Simon Lomas. The nights will be hosted by resident MC, Wayne Beese. Wayne said:
“This is absolutely massive for us, a real coup. We’ve been privileged to work with some really big names but Bill has to be up there as the biggest so far.
“He’s a world class arena comic and we’re absolutely delighted to get him on board for these shows. I’d urge people to get tickets as they are sure to go quickly.”
Bailey has been listed by The Observer as one of the funniest acts in British comedy and twice, in 2007 and 2010, in the top ten of Channel 4’s 100 Greatest Stand-ups.
Tickets for the shows cost £28.50 and are available at funnybeeseness.co.uk.
