A Dudley Council team has been accredited for good practise with managing a fleet of vehicles used for housing services.
The team has been praised by the Freight Transport Association for its operation and maintenance of 150 goods vehicles including vans and small trucks.
The award highlights competence and effectivity of the van operators including management of vehicles and their users. Councillor David Vickers, deputy leader of Dudley Council, said:
"A big well done to our housing team, who have shown outstanding levels of maintenance and care with the housing vehicle fleet.
The accreditation lasts for 12 months and preparations have already begun for next year’s application."
