Police are appealing for witnesses after a cyclist was seriously injured in a hit and run incident in Pensnett.

The accident happened on Commonside on Tuesday night. The 61-year-old man was knocked off his bike by a car travelling in the same direction.

Officers say it was a serious incident, and they’re keen to find out who was in the car that drove away from the scene. Anyone with information can call police on 101, quoting reference number 2497 of 3 April.
