Based within Birmingham Hippodrome’s main building, The Patrick Studio is a thriving hub for intimate performance that brings audiences up close and personal with daring dance, thought-provoking drama and side-splitting comedy.
The venue will play host to an evening of unique performance poetry with Hit the Ode on October 5th and November 9th, in a production which see's world-class poets take to the stage alongside new talent. In October, Joe Cook, Michelle Tiwo and Usama Minhas will headline in a hilarious evening as part of Birmingham Comedy Festival.
Barbara Nice returns to the stage in a hilarious evening of comedy, with Barbara Nice’s Raffle on October 13th, where each ticket also includes an entry into Barbara’s raffle for a chance to win something 'off the table'.
Drama takes centre stage, with Bravo 22 Company’s Unspoken opening on 8th October; a production that brings to light the lives interrupted and changed by war. Ad Infinitum’s No Kids will explore the journey of a real-life gay couple who debate the question of having children this November.
For the Christmas period, families with young children are sure to love Tall Stories’ magical, musical production of Emily Brown and the Thing which arrives on 17th December. Join Emily Brown and her old grey rabbit Stanley as they set off on incredible adventures in a fantastical show for children that’s sure to delight and entertain.
