
West Midlands Police have arrested dozens of crime suspects as they seek to deal with offences across the Black Country.
35 people are currently in cells as officers investigate crimes around Dudley, Sandwell, Walsall and Wolverhampton.
These range from burglary and assault to possessing drugs and theft. This includes a 17-year-old boy arrested on suspicion of burglary after Police responded to a break-in in Smethwick earlier today.
A woman, aged 19, and a 31-year-old man have been arrested on suspicion of shop theft in Walsall town centre yesterday.
A 60-year-old man was detained in Stourbridge High Street yesterday in connection with theft from a vehicle, while a 63-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of criminal damage in Wolverhampton city centre.
