Businesses across Dudley borough are now able to access support from Business Growth West Midlands.
Business Growth West Midlands in Dudley provides fully funded guidance and support programmes for business leaders and entrepreneurs with an ambition to grow.
From start-up support to specialist decarbonisation programmes, Business Growth West Midlands in Dudley is the one stop shop for businesses in the borough.
Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) across all sectors that are facing barriers, or need support to grow, can access a growing range of business support programmes funded by the UK Government, through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.
Dudley Council has worked with West Midlands Combined Authority to shape and deliver this service in Dudley, with a series of support products and services to be launched over the coming months to help businesses increase their productivity. Councillor Paul Bradley, deputy leader and cabinet member for communities and economic delivery, said:
“As part of Business Growth West Midlands in Dudley, Dudley Council has developed an innovative new delivery model, working with Oxford Innovation Advice to enable more than 600 established Dudley SME businesses to benefit from the expertise of a local team of Business Growth Advisers.
“Businesses will be able to access an initial diagnostic, develop bespoke business growth action plans and receive tailored support to access innovation and funding opportunities.”
Dudley Council is working with Good2Great Limited to deliver a programme for potential entrepreneurs and new start-up businesses to support their early-stage survival and growth. Entrepreneurs and early-stage businesses will benefit from one to one support, workshops and mentoring.
