A woman has been taken to hospital in a serious condition after emergency services rushed to Netherton reservoir.
All three services were in attendance and a number of units remain at the Highbridge Road site, following a 999 call at around 5pm. A spokesman for West Midlands Police said:
“We currently have officers at Netherton Reservoir, Dudley, after a woman was spotted in the water.
“She has been taken to hospital in a serious condition. Police continue to search the area.”
Further searches are being carried out after onlookers suggested a man could also be in the water.
