Festive-themed afternoon teas at the prestigious Himley Hall and Park will be back by popular demand in December.
The 18th century historic building, which has entertained royalty and gentry in years gone by, offers the perfect venue for an indulgent afternoon tea.
The experience includes a selection of teas, and homemade sandwiches, cakes and scones served in one of the hall’s period rooms. People can also enjoy views across the Capability Brown landscaped grounds.
Festive afternoon tea will be served on December 2, 3, 9, 10, 16, 17, 21 and 22 and costs from £25 per person. Standard afternoon tea dates throughout November are still available at £21 per person.
To adhere to the latest government guidelines, tables will be strictly limited to six people and social distancing measures will be in place at all times. Councillor Ian Kettle, cabinet member for regeneration and enterprise, said:
"I’m really pleased to see our popular afternoon teas are back on the menu this Christmas. They provide a perfect opportunity to indulge whilst enjoying the beautiful surroundings of the hall and park.
"They usually sell out fast, so please get in touch if you’d like to come and please be assured all the latest guidelines will be adhered to throughout."
Anyone with afternoon tea vouchers can redeem them towards these events and people can also purchase vouchers as a gift, from £21. To book, call 01384 817817 or visit himleyhallandpark.co.uk/afternoontea for more information.
