Experience a special treat this Christmas with indulgent afternoon tea at Himley Hall.
Once the family home of the Earls of Dudley and host to royalty and high society, now everyone can enjoy a taste of the high life in this beautiful 18th century building. While sittings can be booked now, gift vouchers are also available for people looking for a unique Christmas present.
The experience includes unlimited leaf tea or freshly filtered coffee, a selection of delicious ribbon sandwiches accompanied with savoury pastry tarts, followed by warm scones and of course clotted cream, and a selection of seasonal cakes such as traditional mince pies, fruit cake and more.
These sessions are £22.95 per person and can be upgraded to £26.50 per person to include a sparkling prosecco or refreshing gin and tonic. Visitors can then enjoy the Capability Brown landscaped grounds, or visit the south galleries to view exhibitions from local artists. Councillor Keiran Casey, cabinet member responsible for tourism, said:
"The afternoon teas at Himley Hall are extremely popular, and visitors love sampling the delicious menu and enjoy a stroll around the beautifully landscaped gardens.
"These dates in December are extra special as the hall is beautifully decorated for Christmas and a special festive menu is on offer. It’s perfect for anyone looking for a special treat this festive season.”
Gift vouchers for indulgent afternoon tea are also available for dates in the new year, for anyone looking to purchase someone a special gift.
