Local arts groups, community organisations and schools are being invited to play a part in this year’s special Remembrance Day service in Dudley.
This year marks the 100th anniversary of the end of the First World War, and Dudley Council has called for any organisations planning special displays or projects to mark the occasion to get in touch.
The Mayor of Dudley, Councillor Dave Tyler said Remembrance Day is always one of the best-attended civic services of the year, which shows there is still a great appetite to remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice.
