The parents of a baby girl from Halesowen who sustained fractures to both arms and seven broken ribs have been jailed.
27-year-old Wayne Jones and his former partner Abbie Jones, who’s 19, were convicted of causing or allowing a child to suffer serious injury after she was found with bruises.
The discovery was made when paramedics were called to a flat in Ankerdine Court by Mr. Jones, who had dialled 999 to complain about feeling suicidal.
He denied the charges but was found guilty and jailed for two-and-a-half years, while Abbie Jones pleaded guilty and was jailed for 20 months.
