Singer Aled Jones has announced a second date in the borough as part of his national tour.
The Welshman will perform Full Circle, a show featuring songs and stories from his career, at Halesowen Town Hall on Thursday 29 May 2025.
Aled shot to fame as the boy treble and voice behind the song Walking in the Air on classic Christmas animated film The Snowman.
It firmly established him as a household name and he has gone on to sell more than seven million albums, performing in concerts and theatres all over the world.
He is also performing the show at Dudley Town Hall later this year, on Thursday 21 November. Rupert Knowlden, manager for Dudley Borough Halls, said:
“Aled Jones is a British icon – his voice will forever be part of Christmas in hundreds of thousands of homes across the country.
“We are delighted to be hosting a second date in the borough for his new show, where fans will be able to hear Aled as they have never heard him before."
Standard tickets cost £30, with VIP tickets available for £50 and Meet & Greet tickets at £70. Tickets are on sale today (Friday) at 10am and are expected to be snapped up quickly.
Meanwhile, tickets have gone on sale for TV presenter and adventurer, Ben Fogle’s show, WILD at Dudley Town Hall on Wednesday March 12 next year. It will tell true stories from his encounters with animals and people from all over the world.
Shows coming up in May at Dudley Town Hall include comedian Ed Byrne’s critically acclaimed Tragedy Plus Time on Saturday May 11. Tommy Blaize, the lead singer on Strictly Come Dancing for more than 20 years, will be at the town hall on Friday May 24.
