A Halesowen motorist who killed an Oldbury woman when he lost control of his car and careered into a bus stop has been jailed for eight years.
33-year-old Sukvinder Mannan was driving at over 100mph while drunk in the moments before the crash, racing against Inderjit Singh.
Mannan then lost control, ploughing into the bus stop where 21-year-old Rebecca McManus was standing – she died, while her friend was left in a coma.
He admitted causing death and serious injury by dangerous driving while Singh, who’s 31 and from Wolverhampton, was jailed for a year.
