Children of all ages can take part in fun and games at Dudley and Halesowen leisure centres during the October holidays.
The Dudley Council owned facilities are hosting a jam packed week of activities between Saturday 27th October and Sunday 4th November.
On Tuesday 30th October and Thursday 1st November there will be two full days of junior activezone fun at Dudley Leisure Centre. Suitable for children aged 8 to 12 years, the activities will run from 9am to 4pm and include multi skills, football, basketball, rounders, crafts, swimming and more. It costs £20 per day per child (£10 to Options+ leisure discount holders) and a parental consent form must be completed prior to participation. Participants will need to bring packed lunches, refreshments and a drink bottle.
At Halesowen Leisure Centre juniors can take advantage of the £7 for 7 days offer to receive unlimited access from 9am to 5pm every day. Activities include use of the swimming pools, fun float sessions, plus use of the squash courts and table tennis. Children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult. Councillor Keiran Casey, cabinet member responsible for leisure centres, said:
"Our leisure centres offer lots of fantastic activities to help keep children fit and active over the school holidays. The £7 for 7 days offer available at Halesowen Leisure Centre delivers great value for money for families who are looking to keep their little ones busy throughout the holidays.”
Both centres’ swimming pools will be open throughout the school holidays and people are asked to check opening times and session details before arrival. Plus all juniors under the age of 16 can receive a 50 per cent discount off the full adult price on a no booking advance basis for court sports.
All participants must be under the age of 16. Equipment is provided. This offer is subject to availability.
