The prestigious Himley Hall will provide the perfect setting for two murder mystery evenings this month.

Local stars The Fizzogs will bring ‘Suffocation in the Sauna’ to the Dudley Council-run hall on Friday December 8 and Saturday December 16.

The dastardly show involves popular characters, Letty, Hilda and May, better known as the Dancing Grannies. The grannies have been up to no good and guests are invited to help solve a case.

A traditional hog roast dinner will be served during the evening. Vegan and vegetarian options will be available.

The event is strictly for people aged 14 and over. Tickets are available online. Doors open at 6.45pm and the event starts at 7.30pm. Councillor Paul Bradley, deputy leader of the council, said:

"Himley Hall will provide the perfect setting for this event and we’re delighted to welcome the Dancing Grannies back for a classic murder mystery event.

"Tickets are still available, so I’d urge people to get booked in if they fancy putting their detective skills to the test!"
