Three creative winners have had their Easter bonnets chosen in a competition held at a Brierley Hill social club aimed at the over 60s.
The competition was part of an Easter celebration party held by the Over 60s club who are based at Oakfield Community Centre on Brettell Lane.
As well as the creative competition, bingo, a raffle, a buffet and other activities, organisers also arranged for local nurse Paul Smith (locally known as "the singing nurse") to take the group through the decades with song.
Local ward councillor Adam Davies was invited to celebrate with the group and judge the competition with Paul.
Cllr Adam Davies said: "It's always a pleasure to come along and support the Over 60s group and to see the members enjoying themselves with friends old and new.
"There were some really great entries to the competition, so a big well done to everyone who entered. And of course, an even bigger thank you to the club leaders and organisers who worked hard to put on yet another brilliant afternoon for all the members."
Dawn Bowater, one of the club leaders, said: "We're proud of our club and love to have our parties. We really appreciate Adam and Paul coming along to support us as well and would encourage anyone over 60 who is at home thinking of trying our club to get in touch."
The three winning Easter bonnet entries were submitted by Irene Kesterton, Dawn Bowater and Peter Williams.
The club meet Wednesdays between 12 midday and 3:30pm. To enquire about joining call 01384 79188.
