The fire which ripped through the chains Wall Heath site was an accident, caused by a faulty refrigiration unit.

West Midlands Fire Sevice confirmed the news on social media this afternoon, after the company said yesterday that they intend to rebuild the premises.

The fire took hold last Wednesday with over 100 fire fighters on the site at its peak. Hickorys bosses were said to be overwhelmed by the support they got from local residents, prompting them to assure patrons that they would be back in the Black Country as soon as possible.
