TV comic Jimmy Carr has announced an unprecedented fourth date for his tour show at Dudley Town Hall.
Carr will perform a 10pm late show at the St James’s Road venue on Saturday September 14th, with tickets for the new date going on sale from 10am on Friday.
The hugely popular comedian is one of the world’s most recognisable stand-ups and is the host of programmes such as 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown and The Big Fat Quiz of the Year.
The 46-year-old is already performing two dates of his new show, called Terribly Funny, at the town hall on Saturday 11th May next year with a sold out early performance as well as a late show which has only a few tickets left. A third date was added for 7pm on Saturday 14th September which has also nearly sold out – so bosses have now added a 10pm date on the same night. Rupert Knowlden, manager of Dudley Town Hall, said:
"We’re thrilled to announce another date in Dudley with one of the world’s most popular stand-ups. Jimmy always sells well here at the Town Hall, but adding a fourth show takes us into uncharted territory.”
Tickets cost £29.50 and are available at boroughhalls.co.uk or by calling the box office on 01384 812 812.
Carr is one of a number of top TV comics appearing at Dudley and Stourbridge town halls in the coming months. Others include Nish Kumar (15th February), Matt Forde (1st March), Jason Manford (9th March) and Jim Davidson (25th October).
