Bomb disposal units called to a street in Kidderminster are being connected with the arrest of a man on Sunday night, police have said.
The 23-year-old who was in possession of knives and an axe near to the Territorial Army Centre, in Birmingham Road, Kidderminster, is connected to the incident in Merton Close on Monday night.
Officers raiding the property of a man named locally as Dan Bebb-Jones, found suspicious material prompting the evacuation of homes.
However, it was later confirmed the material was not suspicious and people returned to their homes
