Two Dudley Labour councillors have announced their support for the Leave campaign as the EU referendum draws nears.
Senior Councillors John Martin and Richard Body are going against the party's official line to campaign for Britain to remain in the European Union.
Cllr Martin who represents Brockmoor and Pensnett said he still believed in a common market, but felt there was a fundamental lack of accountability and democracy in the EU institutions.
Cllr Brody who represents Cradley and Wollescote, said Britain’s treatment of immigrants from outside the EU is grossly unfair compared to those from within the European Union.
The referendum is due to be held on June 3rd whilst a free hustings event will be hosted by Black Country Radio to allow the public to have their say. The event will take place at St John's church in Stourbridge on June 14th - anyone interested in attending can visit blackcountryradio.co.uk/brexit.
