Birmingham Police have launched an investigation after a loaded gun was discovered, shortly before 7pm on Monday, in the toilets of House of Fraser's Birmingham store.
The weapon was found concealed in a toilet roll holder in the male toilets - officers are studying CCTV as part of their inquiry. A spokesperson for House of Fraser, said:
“We are currently working very closely with West Midlands Police supporting them with their investigation and cannot comment further at this stage.”
