H. Porter & Sons in Stourbridge are kicking off 2018 with a charity bring & buy morning to raise funds for the Mary Stevens Hospice.

The event will take place in the funeral director's new event space called ‘The Lounge at Old Church House’ on South Road, with tickets costin £1 on the door. All guests are also being given a free drink and a raffle ticket to win a bottle of champagne as part of their entry price.

Organisers at H.Porter are asking all guests, who are able, to bring an item to be donated to the bring and buy sale which will be held between 9:30am and 11:00am on Friday 12th January 2018.

Mary Stevens Hospice are a charity partner of H.Porter & Sons, with the organisations enjoying a working relationship for more than 25 years. Lucy Porter from H.Porter & Sons said:

“We are proud to have spent another year supporting The Mary Stevens Hospice. From the early days when the idea of a Hospice in Stourbridge was first shared with funeral directors - my late father, John, offered our mortuary facilities free of charge whenever they were needed – to 2017.

“Both as a business, and individually, we are honoured to be ambassadors for The Mary Stevens Hospice and feel so passionate about the work that they do.
