Budding poets and novelists are invited to join a new creative writing group which is being launched with a special workshop in Stourbridge next week.
The free workshop is at Stourbridge Library on Saturday 18th June and will be lead by former Birmingham Poet Laureate Roz Goddard whose most recent collection of poetry was featured on BBC Radio 3.
No prior experience is necessary to join the new creative writing group which is free to join and open to writers of all styles and levels. Cllr Rachel Harris, cabinet member for health and wellbeing, said:
“Roz is a seasoned poet and short fiction writer and a fantastic workshop facilitator. The workshop on Saturday will give people a taste for what goes on at the weekly group meetingswhere we will share tips and exercises to develop our writing.”
