A major borough road will temporarily close overnight as a major programme to repair and waterproof part of the M5 continues.
Manor Way in Halesowen will be closed from 8pm on Sunday June 4 to 6am on Monday June 5 from its junction with Grange Road roundabout to the M5 junction 3 roundabout.
This is at the request of Kier Group, working on behalf of Highways England, as part of the major motorway repair scheme underway between junctions 1 and 2 of the M5. The junction 3 roundabout will be closed during this period.
The diversion route will be A459 Grange Road, A459 Bromsgrove Rd, A459 Bromsgrove St, A458 Mucklow Hill, Halesowen Rd, A458 Hagley Road West and vice-versa. Jeremy Butler, group engineer at Dudley Council, said:
“We are working closely with colleagues at Highways England and Kier Group to assist them in the project but also to ensure any work that has an impact on our roads is kept to a minimum and carried out at the most suitable time.”
