Police have arrested a man after another man was injured at Merry Hill shopping centre in Brierley Hill this morning.

Officers were called to the centre around 11.15am this morning, following reports of a stabbing.
 
The man has been taken by ambulance to hospital to be treated for his injury, his condition is not known at this stage. 

A 19-year-old man was arrested at the centre in connection with the incident. Detective Inspector Tom Hadley from Force CID said:

“Enquires are on-going but we are treating this as an isolated incident between two people and we are not seeking anyone else in connection with this. Anyone with information should call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
