A 33-year-old man arrested in connection with a stabbing at a block of flats in Ankerdine Court, Halesowen has been bailed.
The man, who is from Halesowen, was arrested at the scene as a result of fast-track enquires. Although initially detained on suspicion of attempted murder, this was to changed to wounding with intent.
He was later questioned by detectives about his involvement in the attack, and released on conditional police bail. Detective Sergeant Stephen Green said:
“We’ve had a lot of support from the local community, and I’d like to thank them and everyone else who has been in touch.
“We take knife crime very seriously and I’d urge anyone that hasn’t yet come forward to do so, their information could prove vital in apprehending those responsible for this violent attack."
