Man dies in Bilston RTC

A man has died following a collision between a car and a motorbike in Bilston.

West Midlands Ambulance Service was called to Bradley Lane at 9.04pm and sent one ambulance, a paramedic officer and a MERIT trauma doctor to the scene. A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said:

“On arrival, crews discovered one patient, a man, who is believed to have been riding on the motorcycle at the time of the collision. The man was found to be in cardiac arrest. An off-duty nurse had stopped to offer assistance and had already commenced CPR.

“Ambulance staff administered advanced life support but sadly it became apparent nothing could be done to save the man and he was confirmed dead at the scene.”
