Man guilty of allowing cannabis to be grown in historic tunnels

A Kidderminster man’s been found guilty of allowing cannabis to be grown in the Drakelow Tunnels near Wolverley.

Caretaker Wayne Robinson, of Marlpool Lane has been warned he’s facing jail.

Police found 900 cannabis plants, growing in one of the Historic tunnels in November 2013.

The prosecution said Robinson, who’d been caretaker of the tunnels since the 1990s, must have known what was going on.
