Two men arrested in connection with the death of 39-year-old Kevin Shepperson have been charged with his murder.

Cameron MacKenzie, of Richmond Street, Chuckery and Wayne Kendall, of Bloxwich Road South, Willenhall, have been remanded in custody to appear before Walsall Magistrates Court this morning.

The men, both aged 21, were arrested after Mr Shepperson was discovered dead at a flat in Bloxwich Road South at just before 12.30pm last Wednesday. A post mortem examination revealed he died as a result of multiple injuries. Detective Chief Inspector Paul Joyce, from the force’s homicide team, said:

"This is a significant step in the investigation but our enquiries do not end here. We are still keen to hear from anyone who may have information which can assist us.

"What you may believe is insignificant could have real relevance so please come forward and speak to us."
