MP offers residents chance to walk the floors of Parliament this July

Dudley South MP, Mike Wood is offering local residents the chance to walk the floors of Parliament this July.

As part of the latest free tour organised by the MP, residents will have the chance to watch live debates in the House of Commons and House of Lords, hear about the history of Parliament, and finally quiz Mr Wood himself as part of a committee room question-and-answer session.

The free tour will be on Thursday 4th July and coach transport has also been arranged at £28 per head to transport residents from Wordsley to Westminster and back again. Mr Wood said:

“This year is most certainly going to be an election year so there will no doubt be even more interest than normal in what’s going on in Westminster.

“As with my many previous tour invites to residents, this trip is open for all to attend and coach transport has been organised.

“Not only is the Palace of Westminster a historic building of incredible national importance, but it is the living and breathing engine of our democracy so I hope lots of residents will be able to join us for this unique experience.”

The coach will depart from Wordsley early on 4th July and return the same evening. Exact timings will be confirmed on booking.

To reserve a place, you can contact Mike’s constituency office in Wordsley on 01384 913 123 or by email.
