Staff at Compton Care were excited to reopen their newly refurbished Gornal Wood store following extensive upgrades to provide an enhanced shopping experience.

The store has operated in the local community for over six years, where all profits fromsales go directly towards funding specialist palliative and end of life care for patients and families supported by the charity.

The store now sports a stylish new look but offers the same great value, providing customers with a range of clothing and homeware at bargain prices. All products for sale are kindly donated by local supporters and include high-end, brand-new items such as Levi’s, Harrods and Denby.

The new-look store will also now be open on Sundays to give shoppers even more choice when it comes to picking up a pre-loved bargain. Becky Hodson, Compton Care’s Gornal Wood Store Manager, said:

“We are really excited to welcome bothloyal and new customers to our much-loved Gornal Wood store. The shop is looking fantastic and we have a great range of items for sale, so we encourage anyone passing by to stop by and make a difference with every purchase!”

The shop at 51 Zoar Street, Gornal Wood is now open from Monday to Saturday, 9:00am to 4:00pm, and Sundays from 10:00am to 4:00pm.
