A new set of priorities has been set out at Dudley Council, as it looks to continue on its road to recovery.
The new Dudley Council Plan is a one year focussed plan that sets out some key priorities for the council.
Cabinet members will be discussing the plan, which is broken down into seven themes – leadership, partnerships and community engagement, service delivery, use of resources, governance, continuous improvement, and culture - later this month.
It is aligned to the council’s recently approved Dudley Council Improvement Plan and performance will be reported back through the council’s cabinet and scrutiny process.
Councillor Patrick Harley, leader of Dudley Council, said: “The council plan sets out our strategic goals for the next year, so residents know what they can expect.
“This plan comes as we prepare our five-year corporate strategy, which will be developed after consultation and input by communities and our partners.
“We are in the process of appointing our new senior leadership team, including the Chief Executive, with a decision on the top job to be formally ratified at the meeting of the full council on 28 April.
“In addition, we have started work to implement the council’s new operating model, which will ensure we can evidence high quality, value for money services shaped around the needs of our communities.”
