Dudley Council has released an online video, featuring businesses from across the borough as part of the Shop Local campaign.

The film showcases what people can find on their local high street and the warm welcome that awaits them from traders.

It also highlights how businesses are continuing to keep their workforce and customers safe as some of the legal Covid restrictions come to an end. Councillor Simon Phipps, cabinet member for economic regeneration, said:

"Today is a really important day for our businesses and we know residents will welcome another careful step on the road to normality.

"From craft stores to markets, hairdressers to florists, people will be surprised at the amazing things that can be found on their local high street.

"By shopping local and continuing to be vigilant we can play our part in the fight against Covid-19 whilst supporting the borough economy."
