Opportunity for Dudley residents to speak to the Mayor of the West Midlands

Residents of Dudley will get the chance to ask Richard Parker, the Mayor of the West Midlands any questions they may have about his policies and priorities.

The next Ask the Mayor Anything event is set for Tuesday, April 1, 2025, from 6pm to 7pm at the conference centre at the Black Country Living Museum.

Places are free but residents are encouraged to book to guarantee their place.

Mr Parker said: “I want local people to have the chance to speak to me directly and ask questions. I’ve set out my priorities for the region, but it’s just as important that I listen to what matters most to residents.

“I’m looking forward to talking to the people of Dudley about how our Metro extension is gathering pace; our new sensors are helping to improve air quality; and to discuss my plans to improve their bus services and build much needed social homes.

“I also want to understand their concerns, answer their questions, and make sure their views help shape the work we do.”
