One of Dudley’s most wanted men has been found….hiding in his sister’s attic!

The 36-year-old was being hunted following a robbery at Costcutter in Wollescote back in February. He’s been one of Dudley Police’s most wanted men since then. But on Monday night his time ran out.

Police paid a visit to his sister as part of the ongoing search and decided check inside the house, despite her claims he wasn’t there.

Officers were close to leaving when they noticed a loft hatch had been covered up. On initial inspection the loft appeared empty, until a torch shone a light on footprints in the insulation.

Officers followed the trail to the edge of the loft and found their man hiding underneath swathes of insulation.

The message is clear, if you commit a crime and officers have a reason to suspect you are involved then you will be apprehended.
